What this Directive does not, by itself, require
Last reviewed 2026-10-16
A directive is transposed. This product does not file a national report, does not state that every employer is already in scope, and does not give legal advice.
Article 34
Transposition
Article 34 requires Member States to bring into force the laws, regulations and administrative provisions necessary to comply with the Directive by 7 June 2026. Until a Member State does that, the Directive’s employer duties are not restated here as already binding that State’s private employers. Country pages record a dated third-party status label and the Directive floor. They are not the statute.
What pay.scm.cc does not do
These guides do not submit Article 9 information to a government portal. They do not claim a national filing format. The calculator does not store pay rows. Nothing on this cluster is a determination that a joint pay assessment is legally due.

Informational only. This is not legal advice and not a statement of national law. Statutory claims cite Directive (EU) 2023/970 and carry a last-reviewed date. A Member State duty exists only when that State’s law says so. See the country pages for a dated status snapshot.
